Anne Springs Close Greenway

Hello Everyone!

I hope you find this blog helpful as you prepare for your hike. Today, I will be writing about the Anne Springs Close Greenway (ASCG). For those of you who don't know, this greenway is not like a normal greenway. It is more like the trails you would hike if you were in the mountains. There are some easy trails and some intermediate trails. Now don't get confused on the word easy when it comes to these trails. In this case, the word easy pretty much means your not walking up steep hills the whole time. There are about 20 or more different trails here. There is Archers Loop, Billy's WalkFern Forest, Haigler Loop, Steel Creek, Trekker Loop, Blue Star, Avery LoopMill Pond, Paradise LoopPrairie Loop, Tunnel Trail, Dogwood, Ford Gap, HickoryMuscatine, Nation Ford, Timberline, Wagon Loop, and Wild Azalea. So far, I have hiked Mill Pond which is intermediate (Medium) and about a 3.9 mile hike. Depending on how experienced you are at hiking it is about, give or take, a 2 hour hike depending on your pace time. I will continue to update this post as I hike the rest of the trails. Thank you for reading and I hope this helped you prepare a little before starting your hike.
